Our client - the organization of more than 2000 employees in 3 countries rendering financial services to 1,7 million private clients, companies and state institutions. This position belongs to Storebrand IT department with over 300 highly competent IT professionals in Oslo, Stockholm and Vilnius, standing at the forefront of technology and delivering both in-house and customer-facing applications, paying attention to high level of code quality. Currently looking for:

Expectations (Stuff used today and you don't have to know all of them):

• HTML5

• Bootstrap 
• Web API

Stuff we don’t use, but please teach us if you have experience:

• TypeScript 
• AngularJS 
• EmberJS 
• SASS 
• Automated front end testing

Working tasks:

• Building custom websites through the use of latest web technologies, web services and REST based services 
• Working in an Agile development team
• Building business critical software and ensuring high quality throughout the team by the use of coding standards and test driven development 
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the solution and the development processes in the department

Technical qualifications and experience:

• At least 2 years of  experience in software development using Microsoft .NET technologies (.NET, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Visual Studio, etc.)
• Expert knowledge and passion for front-end development with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, MVC, Razor, KnockoutJS … 
• Agile development engineering practices (specifically including unit testing, continuous integration); 
• Experience of writing unit tests and using unit test frameworks would be an advantage; 
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills; 
• Fluent English
