Job description:

As a specialist you will be part of an application team. The team will be in close dialogue with a central workstation team with IT architects and senior engineers. The job offers possibility to work with workstation infrastructure solutions for a large financial company present in more than 10 countries with more than 28.000 workstations. The job includes maintenance tasks to keep software up to date.

Responsibilities:

• Packaging / Repackaging applications for distribution via SCCM
• Assist in developing and implementing application packaging standards and guidelines following Microsoft best practices
• Application packaging using SCCM and other tools
• Enterprise software deployments in a Windows environment
• Ability to communicate with clients to accurately determine timeframe for Application packaging and deployments.
• Application support

Some typical maintenance tasks are:

• MSI packaging
• Mass deployment of software
• 2nd level support for software distribution
• 2nd - 3rd  level packaged applications support

Requirements:  

• Advanced Windows OS troubleshooting experience
• VBS and PowerShell knowledge
• Very good English language skills: both verbal and written
• MSI Packaging will be considered as an advantage
• Software distribution experience with SCCM will be considered as an advantage
