Your main responsibilities will be: - Develope innovative technical solutions to address business and customer needs.
- Monitor and manage internal and external influences in Project/Support services performance.
- Take responsibility for architectural adherence, quality standards and policies.
Work closely with the business and/or customers: - To understand their requirements and challenge them to establish a robust fact base upon which technical solutions can be developed.
- Assist in formulating an appropriate IT Strategy for the relevant business area.
- Participate in the systems planning process to ensure that interdependencies are understood and that the proposed plan is viable.
- Provide advice and assistance to their projects (programme and highrisk project management? programme complex, project inception support).
We hope that you have: - Experience in delivery of complex IT solutions in a project and programme environment.
- Strong Solution Architecture experience (e.g. operating as an SA in large organisations with complex, multiapplication and infrastructure IT landscapes).
- TOGAF knowledge and practical experience.
- Multivendor supplier management skills.
- Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
- Knowledge of business reengineering principles and processes. Ability to translate business needs and requirements into SA designs with the ability to challenge and guide.
- Familiarity with graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories.
- Ability to balance the longterm ('big picture') and shortterm implications of individual decisions.
- Ability to apply multiple solutions to business problems. ITIL V3 Foundation.
- Ability to estimate the financial & commercial impact of Solution Architecture alternatives.
- Excellent influencing, communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations and senior stakeholders.
- Focus to customers and goal orientation with keen attention to details.
- Certificate: HP, IBM, Microsoft, Linux, Unix, AIX, Oracle, Vmware, Weeam, Symantec, Cisco will be advantage.
