Our client - an independent company builder focusing on Advertising Technology (Ad Tech) Business Models is looking for:

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Passion about delivering a well-designed, performant and scalable backend system;

- Participate in architecting backend systems and our Rest-API for frontend and others components;

- Take responsibility - own, plan and execute your projects;

- Connect third party systems via APIs to automate large tasks and data transfer;

- Perform unit tests and identify, troubleshoot and resolve production bugs;

- Work together in an agile and excellent team closely with product and other developers;

- Write efficient, scalable and well documented code;

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

QUALIFICATION

- You are motivated, a problem-solver and detail-oriented in your work;

- Graduated with a degree in Computer Science or similar field and a high level of proficiency in object oriented languages;

- Experience designing, implementing projects in a highly scalable and performant environment;

- 5+ years of experience in Java and hands-on experience with Spring or Play Framework;

- 2+ years of experience in developing backend service and creating APIs, developing micro services is a big plus;

- Experience with version control system (SVN or Git) and development / release process;

- Experience in SQL, skills with big data technologies (Spark, Hive or Java MapReduce) is a big plus;

- Strong knowledge in unit & integration testing;

- Experience in cloud / PaaS infrastructure (such as Amazon E3, Heroku) or experience deploying, monitoring and tuning high performance code in a SaaS environment is a plus; 

- Experience with fullstack technologies is a plus (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, AngularJS);

- Good English communication skills, since we are working internationally;

- Conceptual knowledge of online advertising space and hand-on experience in building ad tech, including analytics, ad serving, targeting, real time bidding (DSP, SSP, DMP) is a big plus.
