JOB PURPOSE The role of this position is to ensure mutual cooperation among R&D, marketing and sales teams with regard to technical aspects of the products in the following categories - Foods, Cosmetics and Detergents. The goal is to ensure product launches from the technical perspective in terms of product claims and regulatory compliance. You will be a part of the Central and Eastern European R&D team, with location in Riga. KEY DUTIES - Work with entries placed on the product packaging
- Translate and proofread texts to ensure they are in compliance
- Provide technical support and implementation of the upcoming new product launches in the market
- Collaborate with marketing regarding final claims
- Ensure legal compliance of new product launches
- Coordination in the local labeling process including approval of lables
- Provide support to other departments in case of technical questions and issues
REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE - Good English and Latvian (or Lithuanian, or Estonian) language skills – both, in spoken and written
- University degree in natural sciences or engineering will be regarded as advantage
- Knowledge of the legal requirements, law and legislation in the field of cosmetics and food can be additional advantage
- Willingness to work with texts and translation on everyday basis
- Ability to perform duties in an effective and accurate manner
- Good interpersonal skills
- Openness to new challenges
- Flexible, energetic and active personality with good project management skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office
