Nasdaq Position Overview This is an extraordinary opportunity to join the world’s leading exchange company Nasdaq as a Java Software Developer at our Vilnius office. As a Java Software Developer you are responsible for the development of new features for the BWise GRC application. You will also perform corrective maintenance on the existing software. You enjoy working in an Agile way and want to contribute to the continuous improvement of the performance of the Scrum Team and the quality of our product. -
Participate in the refinement and planning of the work done by your Scrum Team -
Design new functionality in a way that it complies with the BWise architectural standards and keep the design simple and maintainable -
Implement new functionality for the BWise GRC application in line with the standards defined within the R&D Department -
Refactor code in order to keep the code clean, easy to understand and maintainable -
Perform corrective maintenance for the BWise GRC application -
Create unit tests and test the developed software. Support testing activities -
Contribute to continuous improvement of the development processes and the developed product Skills, Requirements and Competencies -
Education level: Bachelor/Master in Computer Science -
At least 3 years of experience with Java Software Development in a similar position -
Experience with object oriented programming -
Experience with Java and Java Script -
Experience with modern web technology -
Basic Knowledge of data bases (SQL, Oracle) -
Experience with Agile is a plus -
Flexible and positive attitude -
Interest in Business Intelligence, Process Management, Internal Control, Risk Management -
Excellent language skills in written and spoken English -
You have a passion for innovative ways of working, are flexible and able to adapt to a fast paced environment. -
