Job description:

The department will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the domestic payment product systems and the payments statistics and reporting systems. This is a portfolio of around 30 different systems. Some of them are essential for Danske Bank like transfers and recurring payments while others are more narrow in scope. Hence there is a lot of variety between the systems.        

Job Purpose:

• Identify and foster awareness of IT-related aspects of the solution
• Develop IT solutions in compliance with the Group's standards 
• Demonstrate overview and technical understanding
• Ensure that the solution is developed with maximum efficiency
• Work in System Management areas and/or projects

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate different IT-related potentials in relation to business needs
• Ensure usability and performance of the solution
• Cooperate and align mutual expectations with the business
• Plan, estimate and prioritise own assignments
• Participate in efforts to drive development of the systems area
• Able to translate business needs into IT solutions
• Develops solutions designed to maximise business value
• Able to rapidly acquire some knowledge of a given domain
• Challenges prevailing solutions and assumptions
• Is effective in ensuring that deliverables are in conformance with system architecture and standards for development
• Contributes actively to realisation of the business unit's mission and vision
• Copes efficiently with multiple assignments and delivers a high standard
• Communicates efficiently and purposefully with internal customers and business partners
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability as required by circumstances
• Actively assists in developing others through, e.g. communicating knowledge and participating in professional networks

Requirements:  

• Hands - on experience in one of the programming languages (e.g. Java, C/C+ or other)
• SQL and database modelling
• Analytical skills
• Proficient English language skills
• Experience delivering high quality, error free artifacts
• Good communication skills
